About Us
Our Company

Established in 2003,
Brennan Innovators, LLC provides
professional development workshops for teachers and administrators in the St. Louis Metro Area. Since 2004, the organization also has offered
classes for gifted and talented students in local parochial, private, and public schools.
Classes are often filled with still more students wanting to participate. These classes for students and workshops for educators are creatively designed and enthusiastically presented by a professional educator.
In addition, the company designs, manufactures, and retails
practical reading and learning tools that can benefit individuals of all ages and many ability levels, particularly those challenged with
learning disabilities and differences.
Our Leadership
The
CEO, Joan M. Brennan, is a parent of four sons. She is a middle school educator with more than 15 years’ experience teaching students of different ability levels within the same classroom.
Mrs. Brennan is currently teaching the gifted/talented middle school students at
St. Simon the Apostle School in St. Louis, Missouri, where she has designed the enrichment curriculum and continuously evaluates it. Her lesson plans are created
only after her students “vote” for the units of study they wish to undertake for each coming semester. Since 2006, she has taught in the local
College for Kids Program at the
St. Louis Community College-Meramec Campus.

Mrs. Brennan is a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a B.A. in Foreign Languages having a major in French (K-12) and a minor in Spanish (K-9). She also maintains Secondary Education Certification for the State of Missouri. In addition to these credentials, she has completed numerous post-graduate courses in the areas of
learning disabilities/differences and
educational methods, strategies, and techniques. She is also a current member of S.A.G.E. (St. Louis Association of Gifted Education) and G.A.M (Gifted Association of Missouri).
Besides being an experienced educator, Mrs. Brennan is also an inventor who designs reading and learning tools for persons of different ability levels, particularly in the areas of ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, some autism-spectrum disorders, and other conditions where focus is an issue.
She is the inventor of the
Reading Focus Card (Patent Pending), a tool that can benefit individuals challenged with tracking and focusing when attempting to read or study. The
Reading Focus Card supports differentiated instruction, and its use can be demonstrated as part of a professional development workshop.
In her spare time, Joan Brennan is an active member of the Illinois Innovators and Inventors, a support and networking group for inventors in Southern Illinois. She has been its President since 2006.
